About Our Housing Initiatives
The Housing Committee works to support work around Independent Living in terms of housing This includes work involving the Olmstead decision, and Vermont’s Olmstead plan. It also includes supporting the Housing-First model, helping people make renovations to increase accessibility in their homes, and advocating for affordable, accessible housing in the state that is feasible to find for purchase or rent.
